I'm not willing to install Flash for this, sorry.
When you have Flash installed and ClickToFlash, Flash object will not be executed unless clicked on, thus Flash takes no CPU cycles unless needed.

If you are asking if its apple's style, i would have to say no man. I would change the backgound color to white and find a place to add highlights of silver. Just some suggestions.

So at one point in my code, I use mysqli_ping() to check if a connection to mysql is still alive. In C, doing this will actually reconnect the connection if it dies, but with PHP it just returns true or false, which is fine.
My problem is thus. On occasion, I get this error:

In an effort to prevent this, I have tried EVERYTHING I could think of to prevent the ping from being executed, to absolutely no avail:

On the Aluminium powerbooks the airport card is not user replacable part. It sounds like the antenna cable is not connected as other posters have said. This is a 10-15 minute fix and your local Apple store will probably do it as you wait.
To answer your earlier question, according to the apple service manual disconnecting the airport antenna is a required step when replacing a display since the airport antenna cable crosses over the top of the main display data cable.

Though there is the occasional passport / multi-langauage version problem which is just a pain in the bum: "This is a multiple language document and can only be opened in QuarkXPress Passport. I removed my Samsung 470 SSD from an HP laptop that had Win 7 running. Trim was enabled automatically with Win 7. When I put it into my new Macbook Pro trim was not enabled. You can check by going into the Apple, then About, then More Info and finally into Serial ATA. When you scroll down you will see that trim is not enabled.( Without it, the SSD will fill up and slow down. Google it and see what it does). Groths.org had a Trim Enabler patch that worked perfectly. I downloaded it and clicked on it and it installed. When I went back into the Apple, etc I found that trim had been enabled. Kudos to Oskar. I dropped a couple of bucks on him from Paypal because I appreciate this kind of work. Maybe Apple will have trim enabled in the next OS, like Win7.

The code to change videos to links in quote posts seems to affect still images also. Quotes in the DP forum swap the image with an link reading "image". Is this intended or not?

The iMac is a better buy if you are intending to replace your keyboard and considering upgrading your monitor.

Right, I am asking for a bit of help from you guys (and gals) my parents are moving to France soon, and currently they're using my year old iBook and my brother's PC, they want their own laptop, and they keep putting off buying one, they both like my iBook, but won't get one for themselves due to the price :o I thought I'd surprise them and buy them one for Christmas, I just need a hand finding what I'd need.
I don't particularly want to buy them a new one as I have very little money myself, so I thought I'd go for a G3 iBook or something, here is essentially what they'd be using it for, and what they'd need:
Transferring & viewing photos from DigiCam (USB 2.0)
Browsing the internet & e-mail (Airport)
Word Processing
Music storage (20GB+ HD)
Watching DVDs (Combo Drive)
Something thhat could run at least OS 10.3.9
Could someone give me some idea of a particular model and how much it would go for (on here or ebay).
Any help is very much appreciated.

The next Mac Mini should be fine for that. If as hoped it gets a Sandy Bridge processor it'll make the MacBook Air look terribly slow in comparison for CPU intensive tasks, especially if you put a SSD in the Mini.
As for EyeTV, the current Mini isn't as powerful as many of us would like, but I find it to be adequate. Hopefully the refresh will correct this and allow smooth playing of live sport in HDTV using progressive scan.

Im using an Intel 320 SSD in my MacBook Pro 15" 2010 and its amazing. The biggest difference is boot times and application startup times. I was annoyed when my MacBook Air with a C2D felt faster than my MacBook Pro with an i5, so i installed this new ssd and reinstalled the OS, now its the fastest computer i've ever used.
I chose Intel mainly because of the trustworthy brand and they seemed to be doing quite well with the X25 series. SSD's are certainly worth it, im never going to buy/build a computer without an SSD in future- its the best upgrade possible.

My thoughts exactly, I could see him dying from infection, but not in 2 hours.... There must be more to this.
Probably severed the main artery in the calf and he bled out over 2 hours. If your femoral artery gets cut you could bleed out in minutes (ever see Black Hawk Down?). The arteries below the kneecap carry less volume so 2 hours sounds plausible.
