There is a picture tool bar along the top of the plan, showing almost all the veggies you would want and when you place that picture on your bed, it has a halo around it, showing just how much room this plant needs. The pictures also have information about your chosen vegetable (such as favoured conditions) and are colour coded to show which family it belongs to.
There is a 30 day free trail which is plenty of time to get a plan done, but it may be worth considering a subscription if you find the website useful, as it stores your plan and can assist you in the next year with crop rotation.
I suppose, ideally this website is for those who haven't quite got the hang of things yet, but any seasoned allotmenteer who finds they are losing their plans on scraps of paper - this could be for you too!

GrowVeg.com also has a Blog, which I have been pouring over this morning and find it to be full of interesting information. Jeremy is passionate about organic growing, ecology, permaculture and veggie cooking ~ a modern hippy?! Cool.
Give it a wee lookin' at anyway. If nothing else it's fun to nosey. I'll give it a go myself, or maybe Andrew would get jealous ~ he likes to do the planning.

Please note : this is entirely different from Grow Veg ~ the forum, which I love:
