I love peanut butter! Naturally I was happy to try this product out!
The blog What I Did Today inspired me to try out a granola bar recipe. I put my own spin on this delicious snack.
Directions:
1. In a medium-sized saucepan, combine Tropical Traditions Raw Honey, Brown Sugar and the Tropical Traditions Coconut Oil, and gently warm over low heat while stirring until the
sugar crystals have dissolved. This should just take a couple of
minutes.
2. Stir in the Tropical Traditions Organic Coconut Peanut Butter, Vanilla, and Salt until smooth.
Remove from the heat. Allow the mixture to cool for a couple of minutes.
It should look like this. |
3. Stir in the Tropical Traditions Whole Golden Flaxseed (ground), Wheat Germ, Oats and Rice Cereal.
4. Let the mixture cool for few more minutes, and then stir in
the Chocolate Chips.
5. The mixture will be crumbly, but that is okay. Press it firmly into
a sprayed 8 x 8 pan. Make sure it is
packed, and then place the bars into the freezer to
chill for 30 minutes to an hour.
Cut into bars or pop them out and eat. Store them in the refrigerator to keep fresh and from getting too soft.
Makes 10 to 12 snack bars.
Super Yummy! |
About Tropical Traditions Organic Coconut Peanut Butter:
- It is made from organic peanuts and organic coconut. Two ingredients:
nothing else! - No fillers, no binders, no sweeteners, and no
