After a few months of speculation as to whether or not David would either be designing menswear with Victoria or creating his own range, the forth time father-to-be has confirmed that he will be launching his own range of ody wear and frangrances for men which is to be called Homme by David Beckham.David told WWD: "I have had the idea of doing a bodywear collection for some time now. The push to do something of my own really came as a result of my collaboration with Armani. It proved to me that there is a real market for good-looking, well-made men's bodywear."
Victoria also took to her Twitter to confirm the news posting the following message: "David announced today he is launching his own bodywear range!!! x".
Simon Fuller, manager of both David and Victoria, also announced that he has several projects in the works with David and that over the next few years, both his brand and himself will continuously evolve. "David and I have a number of ambitious and exciting ideas in development across a broad range of categories. The next 10 years will see David evolve into being recognised, not just as an iconic sports figure, but also as an important entrepreneur."
Congrats David and best of luck with all of your future endeavors! Can't wait to see the new line! Could you imagine the photo ads??? It's about to heat up even more!
