Hey!
Anyone planning on going to the Apple store in Reston VA this thursday? I pre-ordered my phone and plan on swinging by before work at around ~6:30.
I know some Macrumors users live in the area because when I went to go play with an iPad, I punched in www.macrumors.com and it popped up in the history lol.
Hahah that was me :-). I played on their iPad and went to this site debating if I should get one or not.
I already preordered my iPhone 4, but I curious how crazy it's gonna be there.

Very nice, and tastefully done. Forget about the naked aspect, the pose, the look on her face, the angle of her head. I feel more compelled to look at the head up more than anything else. And I don't find anything pornograhpic about it. It isn't revealing, less so than a tight low cut top. Good job. Gets my vote. The only thing that is missing is a spot of color. The bed frame doesn't count. Though I don't know what or where to put it. And possibly black and white would be better as the bed frame is out of sorts color wise.

I've been trying to load a pwnagetool cooked version of the iPad 4.3 GM, but whenever I try to actually load the firmware via itunes I get an error 1 that pops up as soon as the white apple logo appears on the iPad. This is both in recovery mode and DFU mode. I've tried this with both windows and mac version of the program with no success. Can anyone shed any light? I also tried pwn'd dfu mode with iREB and get the same result.

I've never found the server healthy enough to watch until 48 hours later anyway. Pity they only put the MW'07 onto the ITS. Perhaps they'll do it with the '08 - so it can download in full and the be watched.

The thing with the loophole is, even the AT&T employees do it. Nobody cares and they won't do anything when you upgrade. All that matters is that you are grandfathered into it.

I can't figure this one out. I successfully jailbroke my 1st gen iPad after using pwnage tool and tetheredboot.
However when I open cydia and do the required updates it asks me to reboot, so I do so but it keeps on going through a boot loop.
I then put it in DFU and do the tetheredboot command in terminal but it fails every time saying:

So, just to be clear, I need to format the opti-bay drive partition as NTFS so Windows can read it?
You'll need to create a new partition using Disk Utility. Once Win7 is up and running, just reformat it as NTFS.

Will I be able to put the retail version on a flash drive? Because my dvd drive is pretty much busted.

Would it be possible just to clone my Macbook 6,1 HDD and restore it to the HDD on the 1,1?
I'm not sure if this can be done without any problems.

Hate to break it to you crenz, but Panther won't run on beige G3s.
I'm in the same boat with my 400 MHz minitower. The choice is either stick with Jaguar (decent enough) or upgrade EVERYTHING!
Who knows? Maybe there will be a beige-box hack out there come January...
